About the Course

Guided by a Chartered Health Psychologist, this course is designed to specifically support distance learning students.  Recognising the demands of studying, combined with maybe also a job and challenges faced in wider life, the course aims to help you boost your mental wellbeing so that you are better equipped to cope with the demands you're presented with.  The course consists of 2.5 hours of online presentations plus time to pause and engage in self-directed activities.  These activities support you to focus upon yourself as an individual and upon your own mental health specifically.  Three additional downloads are available and included, to support you following the course.  !!IMPORTANT!! To receive the maximum benefit from the course, it is highly recommended that you try to complete it in one sitting.  However, if this is not possible, please be aware that once enrolled, you'll be able to access and re-visit the course for 7 days.

As an experienced Chartered Health Psychologist I'm here to guide you through improving your mental health.  With 25 years experience of working in education with students and their tutors, I have an in-depth understanding of the challenges you face.  I've developed this short course to help you quickly begin to improve your psychological wellbeing, using many easily applied strategies.
